3G Cellular Mobile Router - Backup Internet Communications

02.09.08

We decided at Powerful Signal that it was time to have a good backup system in place for Internet access before we really needed it.  Currently we have DSL service that has been great,  but there are those times when someone decides to dig a hole somewhere and cut lines or maybe mother nature messes things up with a big storm.

We pulled one of our NexAira Mobile Cellular Routers off the shelf and set it up with a Verizon USB Aircard.  It worked great.  Now we have two wireless networks in the office; a main DSL system and a backup cellular router system.  The cellular aircard system will get us by in a disaster situation if our DSL desides to go down.
