Cellphone-Mate CM2000-40
Cellphone-Mate has released a new 3 watt 40/45 dB cell signal booster for vehicles, the CM2000-WL-40. Cellphone-Mate has been determined to come up with a vehicle system that is competitive with the Wilson 801201. I think that they have done it.
Their new dual band (800/1900) cell signal booster is 3 watts which is very good. It has FME Male Connectors for antenna connections which is nice. That means you can connect just about any mobile antenna to it. the metal casing is nice and solid. A huge improvement over their last model. The kit is complete. It comes with the amplifier, 12″ 5dB magnet mount antenna, inside patch broadcast antenna, and two power supplies (car and wall plug). Nothing else to buy.
We took the new Cellphone-Mate CM2000-40 out in the remote desert with a Wilson 801201 to see how they performed against each other. We could not see a difference in the field test. When the Wilson worked, the Cellphone-Mate worked. When the Wilson could not pick up any signal, the Cellphone-Mate didn’t either.
Cellphone-Mate has come out with a quality product at a very competitive price. I think the new Version 3 CM2000-WL-40 is a winner, now we get to see what everyone else thinks.
