Powerful Signal has put together a small home and office cell phone signal booster system using the Wilson 801262 62dB dual band cellular amplifier. The Powerful Signal 801262 Plus Kit allows the user to select the type of outside antenna, either a 9dB gain directional antenna or an omni-directional 5dB gain antenna.

You can also select the type of interior antenna, either a ceiling mount dome or wall mount panel. The dome works well to spread signal in all directions. The panel antenna is directional and more focused.

The cell phone booster system comes with 2 lengths of 75 ohm RG6 white coax. This is the same type of coax used for cable TV. However there are various grades of RG6. The cheeper type has more loss than the quad shield RG6 contained in the Powerful Signal 801262 Kit. Amplifier and antenna mounting hardware are also included.
Coverage area varies depending upon your carrier frequency. 1900MHz used by Sprint, T-Mobile and sometimes by Verizon and AT&T does not carry as far as 800MHz which is used a lot by Verizon, Alltel, and US Cellular. 800MHz broadcasts over twice the distance of 1900MHz. If your signal is weak, about 1 bar outside, this system should cover a regular sized room without much problem. If your signal is 3 or 4 bars outside, then multiple rooms can be covered with this system.
