Product Overview

The DataPro Direct Connect is Wilson Electronics’  first cellular signal booster developed specifically for M2M applications.  Based on the same field-tested, market proven technology that powers Wilson’s 815226 Sleek in-vehicle booster for the consumer market, except in a direct onnect configuration.  The dual-band DataPro Direct Connect is ready to integrate with nearly any GSM or CDMA modem installation to provide strong, reliable signal that ensures successful data transfer.  This product works on all North American service provider networks (except Nextel/iDEN).

The unit’s compact form factor and low price make it an ideal component for M2M installations in weak signal environments.  Integrators and OEMs can pair the DataPro Direct Connect with a variety of ultra-sensitive Wilson Electronics cellular antennas for maximum system gain that may be required to overcome signal attenuation caused by distance from the cell site, terrain features or building materials like concrete and steel.  The DataPro Direct Connect incorporates Wilson’s SMART technology, including cell site overload protection, and proximity detection technologies to prevent interference on the cellular network.

Powerful Signal has put together a very nice portable cell phone booster kit using the 3-watt Wilson 801201 cell phone booster.  This kit is deisigned to be portable and comes with a very useful set of accessories.

Now there is a cell phone booster that can be used in your vehicle, on a desktop in a home, hotel or office.  It can also be used on a boat or in a RV.

Powerful Signal has designed a soft carry case with straps for the Wilson 801201 cell signal booster, a pouch of accessores and other straps for antennas, etc.  The case can easily be placed under the seat of a vehicle or in the trunk.

Accessories included a 12″ 5dB gain magnet mount antenna to be used on the roof of a vehicle or using the suction cup window bracket included with the kit, the antenna can be placed in a nearby window to gather cell signal.  Two broadcast antennas are included, one Wilson 301127 low profile antenna for the inside of a vehicle, the other is a Wilson 301208 desktop antenna for use in an RV, hotel or office.  Other accessories include a suction cup window mount for the 12″ antenna, wall plug power supply and vehicle power supply.

Wilson Electronics has anounced the new Wilson 801280 AG Pro 75 dual-band (800/1900MHz) cell phone booster for homes and buildings.  This 75dB gain cell phone booster is Wilson’s largest.  The amplifier will have 70dB of gain for 800MHz and 75dB for 1900MHz.  It is scheduled to be released in January 2011.

Both the 800MHz and 1900MHz frequencies of the Wilson 801280 are manually adjustable.  This is the first time Wilson has opted to do this.  In the past their internal amplifier programming tried to perform all the adjustments automatically.

The Wilson 801280 AG Pro 75 amplifier will be around the $900 to $1,000 range, with complete kits ranging from $1,100 to $1,500.  This amplifier will be an excellent choice for larger homes, small offices and small warehouses.
